It’s pretty good here at Eumundi Brewery — but it’s even better to be back brewing in this famous little corner of Queensland.
Many of you will remember the original Eumundi Lager, first crafted in 1988. Decades later, the local favourite was brought back to life inside the Imperial Hotel. After a stint with Lion who revived the brand to its former glory, the brewery found its way home again in 2025 — purchased by Queensland family-owned company, the Comiskey Group.
Born and bred in South East Queensland, the Comiskey family have long had a soft spot for Eumundi — from weekends wandering the markets to afternoons spent on the coast. When the chance came to bring the beloved local beer brand back into local hands, they jumped at it.
The result? A revived classic that’s flowing fresher than ever. Our beers are brewed with quality ingredients and made for the Queensland climate — crisp, refreshing and best enjoyed with good mates. We reckon they’re pretty great, but we’ll let you decide. Cheers!

The Imperial Hotel is the original — and still the proud home — of Eumundi Brewery. A cornerstone of the hinterland village since 1911, this grand old Queenslander has been pouring beers and welcoming locals and travellers for over a century. With sweeping verandahs overlooking the famous Eumundi Markets, a laid-back vibe, and a brand-new beer garden serving the freshest beer on the Sunshine Coast — straight from tank to tap — it’s a Sunshine Coast must-do.
Inside, you’ll find the same old charm with a fresh new look. The recent revamp pays tribute to its rich history with a retro-inspired fit-out and a new bistro serving up all your pub favourites — plus a kids’ playground coming soon.
Kick back in the beer garden with a cold one, soak up some live local music, and catch acoustic sets all weekend — or head upstairs for ticketed shows from some of the best bands in the business, right above the Brewery itself.

Eumundi is a small hinterland town, with big personality. Home of the famous Eumundi Markets, and, if we do say so ourselves, the Sunshine Coast’s best brews!
We’ve got a few local legends around here — artists, musicians, makers — all adding a splash of colour to our little town (and never saying no to a cold one).
Sure, we’re only a short hop from Noosa’s beaches, but why rush off when you can stroll the markets, wander our one main street, or sip something local at our century-old pub?
Life moves slow in Eumundi but the beers are served fast — we wouldn’t have it any other way.
